Introducing
the historic Stone House …
Built in the early 1800's,
the majestic Stone House is a truly magnificent historical dwelling.
Sitting high on just under two acres, the many windows reveal extraordinary
views -- a tranquil farm pond across the road, colossal trees and
the gorgeous Pocono Mountains.
Renovation of the Stone
House has just been completed, yet the hardwood floors and structural
backbone were preserved. The lower level of the home is dedicated
to the social activities - cooking, eating, dining, dancing, conversing.
The kitchen has been remodeled
with granite counters, all new appliances and flooring, yet the
original bead board ceiling and floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinets
are the focal point of the room. There are three additional rooms
on the first floor which can be used for dining, dancing, TV watching,
book reading, or whatever you want for your gathering. The multiple
fireplaces throughout the Stone House contribute to the historical
ambiance. There's a new half bath on the first floor for your convenience.
Go up the original staircase
to the second floor where you'll find four charming bedrooms, a
sitting area with a chaise lounge overlooking rolling hills and
a full newly remodeled bathroom. The home comfortably sleeps nine.
Three of the bedrooms have queen-sized beds. The fourth bedroom
has a full-sized bed and a twin.
