Also nearby are several major ski areas, including Montage
(Sno) Mountain, Tanglewood Ski Area, Camelback, Shawnee, Big Bear,
Elk Mountain, and Jack Frost/Big Boulder Ski Area.
These Poconos ski areas feature both downhill skiing and
snowboarding, as well as snow tubing, equipment rentals, and ski

minutes away is Lake
Wallenpaupack, a 13 ˝ mile long lake great for boating, jet
skiing, swimming, fishing, and just relaxing.
Jet ski rentals and power boat rentals are available at several
marinas around the lake. There
are several recreational areas on the shores of Lake Wallenpaupack
that you might enjoy during your off duty travel in the Pocono Mountains.
These areas have walking and hiking trails, picnic areas,
and hundreds of acres of forest lands.
