Poconos New Years Eve Rentals

There’s more to do than just watch the snow fall this New Years Eve in the Pocono Mountains.  Local Poconos New Years Eve activities include New Years Eve Balls, a New Years Eve Party at The Hideout’s Lodge, New Years Cocktail Parties, entertainment, and much more.  Poconos New Years Eve activities are taking place both within The Hideout and at nearby pubs, restaurants, bars, and other facilities.

Scranton offers the First Night Festival, which features over twenty venues of performances, artists, and special events spread over several downtown blocks.  There are performances by hundreds of musicians, artists, dancers, writers, actors, community groups, and ensembles.  Free trolley shuttles are available between venues.  There are activities, events, and performances for people of all ages.  Food and beverages will be provided at various venues.  Admission to First Night in Scranton is $8 if tickets are purchased before December 25, and $10 if purchased after December 25, and this includes all venues, performances, and parking.

But remember, the fun’s not over at midnight-

Some local winter favorites you can enjoy during your Poconos New Years Eve vacation include cross country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowtubing.  The Pocono Mountains have many major ski areas, including Sno Mountain (formerly Montage Mountain), Elk Mountain, Camelback Ski Area, Big Boulder/Jack Frost Mountain, Big Bear Mountain, and Tanglewood Ski Area.  There is also a novice downhill ski slope and ski lodge located within The Hideout community, as well as rentals and areas for cross country skiing and ice skating.

Antique aficionados will appreciate the variety of cozy shops where you will no doubt find hidden treasures within the stone or converted barnboard walls.  The Crossings Premium Outlets offer another option for shopping and savings at over 100 outlet stores.

Come in from the cold at the end of a fun day of activities, and warm up with some hot chocolate or hot toddies next to a blazing fire in the large stone fireplace in the comfort of your own living room.  Many of our Pocono Rentals feature large brick or stone fireplaces.  Be sure to ask one of our guest service representatives if this is a feature you’re interested.  Other amenities offered by Pocono Rentals that you many enjoy during your Poconos New Years Eve vacation include Jacuzzi hot tubs, lakefront and mountain views, pool tables, ping pong and foosball tables, and free high speed internet access.
