Spend a weekend, a week
or longer in the white stately cabin on the gorgeous Lake Ariel.
The long endless dock is enticing to sunbathers. Fish off the deck,
go for a swim or spend the afternoon kayaking - the water is so
refreshing. Relax on a hammock stretched between two majestic trees
-- you'll find the grass is a little greener and the air a little
more invigorating in the Poconos
The deck, better described
as a never-ending porch, surrounds the front and side of the cabin.
There are chairs with cushions, chairs without cushions, chaises,
tables, stands, candles and a deluxe propane grill. Visit a close-by
country market or fruit stand for fresh corn, strawberries, melons
or beans. Food tastes even better when grilled on the BBQ and shared
among friends while you gaze across the lake at the gorgeous sunset.
The interior of the cabin
is stunning. The home is tastefully decorated, accented with soft
colors and superb craftsmanship. The living room, with comfy couches
and chairs, is perfect for quiet time reading a book, TV watching
or chatting with friends. Winters are even nicer in front of the
wood-burning brick fireplace. The home boasts of three charming
bedrooms, two with queen-sized beds and one with two twins. The
full bathroom with shower is conveniently located. The well stocked
kitchen extends into the dining area where two walls are adorned
with windows, white curtains and welcome sunlight.
There are so many things
to do in the Poconos for young and old. A few miles down the road
is a wonderful petting zoo for the children, year-round horseback
riding and a family fun park with paint ball, bumper boats, driving
range and miniature golf. Northeastern Pennsylvania is known for
great antique shopping, wineries, and gourmet restaurants. Just
a half hour by car and you'll be at a casino and trendy outlet mall.
