The Poconos Chalet 2962 is an airy four bedroom vacation home with vaulted Cathedral ceilings, a large stone fireplace, and great Pocono Mountain foliage views. The master bedroom suite features a queen size bed and a jetted tub in the master bath. The charming loft overlooking the great room is a wonderful spot for an afternoon siesta. There are two bedrooms on the main level, each with a bunk bed (twin on top, full on bottom) and a full bathroom. With a queen sized bed in the fourth bedroom on the lower level, a newly added bathroom, a sleeper sofa, TV and pool table, these guests will enjoy their own private suite.

Equipped with new appliances and ample counter space, the upscale kitchen is a joy for chefs (and those who dread cooking). With the kitchen open to the dining area and living room, it's easy for the designated cook to converse with the TV viewers in the living room and diners at the table. Just outside the dining area is the comfy porch which connects with the front deck. There are several large flat screened TVs positioned throughout the house -- the living room, the downstairs recreation room, master bedroom and bedroom on the lower level. The recreation area has two couches and a comfortable chair providing ample seating for TV viewing. Enjoy a game of pool on the stately pool table positioned in front of sliding glass doors revealing gorgeous views of the golf course and woods. Wireless internet is available throughout the entire house.

Our vacation guests have access to all of the amenities and activities in The Hideout, a four star premier community in the Poconos. You'll enjoy gourmet food at the community clubhouse and lodge. In the winter season, the main attraction is the community ski lodge featuring skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. Weather permitting, you can enjoy cross country skiing on the golf course. The recreation center thrives in winter and summer with a state-of-the-art fitness center and sauna, game room with pool/ping pong/arcade games and indoor tennis. In warmer weather you are sure to enjoy the six lakes, two sandy beaches, two pools, 9-hole private golf course, hiking trails, outdoor tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, volleyball and Tiki bar on a large patio overlooking Roamingwood Lake. The Arts & and Crafts Center with Ceramics studio, across from the ski lodge, is open year round.

In the surrounding Pocono Mountains area, you'll find year-round horseback riding; a family fun park with paint ball, bumper boats and miniature golf; an exceptional petting zoo; antique shopping; great restaurants; and historic sites. A thirty minute drive brings you to a casino with gambling, table games, good food and entertainment. Just down the road from the casino is a premier outlet mall.

Snow enthusiasts will want to visit the area ski resorts. The largest ski resort in Pennsylvania, Sno Mountain (formerly known as Montage Mountain), is a 30-minute drive. This first-class resort features 30 trails, two half-pipes, two terrain parks, seven lifts and more. Other area ski resorts are Tanglwood, Elk Mountain, Big Boulder/Jack Frost ski area and Camelback ski area.
