Rentals in The Poconos Chalet 2882 is an airy three bedroom vacation home with vaulted Cathedral ceilings, a large stone fireplace, and great Pocono Mountain foliage views.  The master bedroom suite features a king size bed and a Jacuzzi hot tub.  With an additional two bedrooms, bathroom, and queen size bed, two sets of bunk beds, and a sofa sleeper bed, there’s plenty of room for up to ten guests.  Rentals in the Poconos Chalet 2882 is great for families, groups of friends, or couples to get away in the Pocono Mountains. 

Our Rentals in the Poconos Chalet 2882 guests have access to all the amenities and activities offered in The Hideout, the private resort community in which this vacation home is located.  These include six lakes, two pools, two sandy beaches, a private golf course, and an Arts and Crafts Center with Ceramics studio.  There’s also a gourmet restaurant and pub, indoor and outdoor tennis and basketball, miniature golf, a sports complex, walking and hiking trails, a woodworkers’ shop, and a summer Tiki bar on a large patio overlooking Roamingwood Lake, the beach, and pool.  Additionally, the community features a ski and snowboarding area with a ski lodge, which features a huge stone fireplace, snack bar, and ski and snowboard rentals and lessons.  A complete listing of all the activities and amenities in The Hideout can be found below. 

In the surrounding Pocono Mountains area, our guests of Rentals in the Poconos Chalet 2882 can go horseback riding, relax at a local spa, or hunt for treasures at cozy antique shops, many of which are converted carriage houses and stone cottages.  There’s also a driving range, outlet shopping with over 100 shops, whitewater rafting, water and amusement parks, fishing, hunting, boating, a zoo, and the Lacawac Sanctuary.  The Pocono Mountains are known for great skiing and snowboarding, which you can do locally at Tanglewood Ski Area, Sno (Montage) Mountain, Elk Mountain, Big Boulder/Jack Frost Ski Area, Elk Mountain, Big Bear Mountain, and Camelback Ski Area. 

Rentals in the Poconos Chalet 2882 is also close to racing facilities, including Pocono Downs and Pocono Raceway.  You might also enjoy the brand new Mohegan Sun Casino and the Casino at Mount Airy, scheduled to open in October 2007.   For the winter season, consider spending your New Year's in the Poconos- there's more going on than you might guess!
